Comtek has recently won two trees for it's involvement in the 'Tree Appeal' currently being run by Fountains Associates in conjunction with the Wildlife Trust and defra. Comtek was awarded the trees for ordering all printed media on recycled stock and using ecologically sound products. More information can be found at www.treeappeal.com.

Comtek rolls out a full wireless solution for the Sleep Inn Hotel and Conference centre, Newton Aycliffe. Using the latest PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology Comtek rolled out an 802.11g solution to cover the whole of the Sleep Inn hotel. Including bar areas, conference suites, beer garden and bedrooms guests can enjoy high speed broadband access anywhere as a complimentary part of their visit. Designed to take the hotel to the cutting edge of technology and adding value to its clients the solution has been gaining praise from staff and customers alike. The software and control system was designed and written in house by the Comtek development team and can be utilised in all public areas which need wireless connectivity.
